Since 1982, our highly trained and compassionate staff have provided a high standard of care and support to all our residents.
Health Care Staff
We are committed to organizing our continuum of care around our resident’s needs. Kiwanis Care Centre has a wide range of services from Registered Nurses, Health Care Aids, Therapeutic Recreation staff, Rehabilitation Assistants, Occupational Therapist, and Physiotherapist.
Support Staff
Kiwanis Care Centre strives to maintain the highest quality of service for our community and residents. Our support staff provides vital assistance to our residents from housekeeping and laundry services as well as food services.
Board of Directors
The Kiwanis Care Centre benefits from a strong and active Board of Directors. Board Members are drawn from the Kiwanis Care Society of New Westminster and from the community at large. Current members of the Board of Directors possess expertise in a broad range of areas. Members bring various skills to the table and work collectively in an effective manner. Through their governance of the Kiwanis Care Centre the Board of Directors demonstrates its ongoing commitment to enhancing the lives of our residents.
The Board welcomes new members to the Society and invites their participation at the Annual General Meeting held in June each year.
The Board of Directors is charged with providing Complex Care according to the provisions of the Community Care and Assisted Living Act. The Board is responsible for board policy development and strategic planning so that Kiwanis Care Centre, through its staff, is able to maintain the highest level of service to meet our community’s needs.
